5-Day Course Program

Day 1: Welcome, Integration & Competency Frameworks

  • Team building, icebreakers, and creating a supportive learning community.

  • Course introduction: mapping participants' needs, sharing school contexts, and
    discussing pedagogical goals.

  • Exploring different types of teaching and learning competencies: setting the
    foundation for effective evaluation and professional growth.

  • Unpacking Bloom’s Taxonomy: practical workshops on how to apply cognitive levels
    to benefit both educators and learners in everyday lesson planning.

     

Day 2: Neuroscience, Creativity & Visual Methodologies

  • Integrating neuroscience into education: how the brain learns and how to adapt
    lesson structures to maximize attention and retention.

  • Hands-on methodology workshop: mastering visual storytelling, mind mapping, and
    sketchnoting to simplify complex concepts and boost student creativity.

  • Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary learning scenarios: connecting different subjects
    through engaging, active learning tasks.

  • Group activity: designing a brain-friendly micro-lesson using creative visual tools.
     

Day 3: Creating Safe Environments & Art Therapy in Classroom Management

  • Psychological safety in the classroom: strategies for building trust, empathy, and an
    inclusive classroom culture.

  • Art therapy techniques for educators: using creative expression to support emotional
    regulation, resolve conflicts, and improve classroom dynamics.

  • Outdoor education and cultural learning: testing the possibilities of using the closer
    and further school surroundings (museums, art galleries, and historic sites) for
    effective didactic work.

  • Collaborative workshop: planning an engaging class trip or field activity tied to your
    curriculum.

     

Day 4: Teacher Wellbeing, Time Management & Stress Resilience

  • Crucial strategies for avoiding teacher burnout: identifying early warning signs and
    building a sustainable work-life balance.

  • Time management in the classroom: balancing intensive focus with the vital role of
    relaxation and brain breaks during lessons.

  • Teaching stress resilience: practical breathing, mindfulness, and emotional
    self-regulation techniques for both teachers and students.

  • Peer reflection session: combining physical, cognitive, and emotional self-care
    practices into a daily school routine.
     

Day 5: Synthesis, Ready-to-Use Scenarios & Certification

  • "Idea Fair": Participants present their newly prepared, ready-to-use multidisciplinary
    learning scenarios and receive constructive peer feedback.

  • Course round-up: sharing practical ways to introduce the newly acquired knowledge,
    tools, and methodologies into everyday school practice.

  • Final reflection, course evaluation, and discussing future Erasmus+ networking
    opportunities.

  • Official Awarding of Erasmus+ Certificates of Professional Development and
    celebrating our shared success.
