Teaching German

Deutsch als Fremdsprache

Designed exclusively for current and aspiring teachers of German as a Foreign Language (Deutsch als Fremdsprache - DaF), this Erasmus+ professional development course bridges the gap between traditional grammar-translation methods and modern, communicative, and technology-driven instruction.

Participants will refresh their advanced language skills, explore contemporary cultural trends across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), and master practical strategies to increase student engagement, motivation, and fluency.

Who Should Attend?

Current German language teachers in primary, secondary, or adult education settings.

Language educators transitioning to teaching German.

Recent graduates of DaF or German linguistics programs looking for practical classroom applications.

Prerequisite: Minimum B2 proficiency in German.
